Both generations must realize that the world has changed, and that new responses are necessary for many of the problems of society. For example, with new technology and the use of digital communication, the elders must be proud of the younger generation’s skill in technology rather than to view it as a problem. Instead, they need to fall in line and learn more about it. On the other hand, people who have lived for more decades have much more wisdom of life experience to share. Actively listening to them makes them notice what is important and meaningful in life, although after guiding, they must “leave” the final decision to the youngsters. At the same time the younger generation has so many new ideas and suggestions. This give and take can enrich both generations.

Finally, at every moment, they must send positive energy to draw people towards them. They can smile, hug, and express words of agreement, affection and appreciation, attracting people in a positive way. They must avoid pushing people away via disrespect, disagreements and rigid adherence to their own ideas. Spending quality time together builds strong love and interest between them and they will feel confident, secure and emotionally healthy.
