Tourist attractions and tourist destinations are not the same. A tourist attraction is a place that tourists visit for its natural, historical, or cultural value. Parks, deserts, and forests are examples of natural tourist attractions. Ancient buildings and museums are also examples of cultural and historical tourist attractions.

A tourist destination, however, is a town or a country that tourist visit to enjoy and have a good time. A tourist destination may have more than one tourist attractions. In Paris, for example, tourists can visit towers, museums, and parks.
