How Leonardo spent the rest of his time in Milan is not a mystery because over 5000 pages of his notebooks have been found. He wrote from right to left to keep his notes secret. He was an engineer, architect, astronomer and an inventor. In 1516, he was invited to France by Francis. He passed away on May 2, 1519.
